Twisted Vision

December 2017

Good begets good and bad begets bad - this is the essential thought behind this piece. It depicts two knights about to engage in a fight - the one in darker hues is more or less being manipulated into it by the dense and dark forest whereas the one in lighter tones looks conflicted in the scenario. The woods get denser and more oppressive as the piece recedes, which is meant to imply the negativity. I'm a big believer in the thought that doing positive things pays off in the long run, while stewing in negativity will only get you that far.

Stylistic choices inspired by the always influential, Eyvind Earle.
